Reverend Horton Heat Manchester Concert reviews
Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best concerts ever. His guitar, and another guy (forgot his name-but he was great) & his piano, it was just Reverend Horton Heat. He was personable & joked with the audience in between songs. He told everyone at the beginning he hoped they were not too disappointed because he didn't have a big band with him and that he and the piano man was the band for the night. Totally a class act. He was amazing from the very first song to the very last song. His voice sounds every bit as good (or better) as it did back in the 80's. At first, I didn't know if I was going to enjoy it since there was no band with him but it was even better than I could have ever imagined. He sang every one of his songs that I know of, except "Run to you" and then some of course that I wasn't familiar with but were really really good. Of course everyone clapped and said that was great and fine with them. Anyway, he played for just over 2 hours straight and never took a break. There were a couple of empty seats in the first row (which I'm thinking were left vacant for just this) and Reverend Horton Heat picked out a couple of people in the very back row of the audience and asked them to come down and take those seats. I thought that was great.
